Gary L. Segal has been practicing Canadian immigration law for over 40 years including 5 years with Canada Immigration in a variety of positions the last as Acting Superintendent of Operations, Ontario Region in 1971. He is the author of the first 10 editions of "Immigrating to Canada" and has been certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in Immigration and Citizenship law, one of approximately 30 such lawyers in Canada. Mr. Segal was the founding Chair of the Association of Immigration Lawyers in Canada, now the Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association, of which he has been an elected member of its Executive every year since 1978. He has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 1978. Mr. Segal limits his U.S. immiration law practice to Business and Professional immigrants to the United States of America.
