Phyllis C. Solomon has her own law practice in New York City where she specializes in matrimonial and family law, elder law and wills, trust and estates. She has served as the former Chair of the Family Law Committee of the General Practice Section of the American Bar Association. She is the past president of the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations. She has served as Co-Chair of the Matrimonial and Family Law Committee and the Solo and Small Law Firm Committee of the New York Women's Bar Association. She is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York where she has served as the Secretary for the Small Law Firm Management and Matrimonial Committees. She is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, and the Interdisciplinary Forum on Mental Health and Family Law. She is also a director for the Judges and Lawyers Breast Cancer Alert (JALBCA). Admitted to practice in New York, Ms. Solomon is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Masters degree in History from the University of Louisville. She has lectured to many professional and civic groups on family law; wills, trust and estates issues and law practice management. Among her proudest accomplishments is the fact that Ms. Solomon has been married for over forty years, has two grown sons, and three grandchildren. Korean language interpretation available.
